10 October 2019 Meeting:

Richard Gordon was the COD. He presented Kevin Boneschans, Sales Representative of Pella Windows in North Sioux City. Kevin gave us a tour of the Pella Windows showroom and factory. He also gave us a tour of the CNOS Fieldhouse with the United Sports Academy
Mat spoke about the upcoming Home to Homeless program to assist the homeless on October 11
Information was presented about the recruitment event at the Oscar Carl Vineyard on October 10
Information was presented about the Diabetes Wellness Fair.
Sioux City Cosmopolitan Club Board Meeting Minutes:
Board Members Present:  Dave Lindberg, Curt Stoever, Randy Kramer, Pat Curry, Ashley Curry, Grace Kavanaugh
Dave opened the meeting with a prayer.
Old Business:
Randy shared information and pictures of flag that the Cosmopolitan club is looking at purchasing, with charter date on it, as well as table cover. Kurt thought that phone number and e-mail address should be on it. Grace questioned what if phone number and e-mail address changed. No decision was made.
Randy discussed food for the event on October 10. Ashley stated that she would talk to individual at Hy-Vee. Randy stated that there would be a cash bar or you could bring your own non-alcoholic beverage. The subject of name tags came up but no decision was made.
New Business:
Randy brought up the subject of making a commitment to support the New Autism Center. Pat also explained that this would bring the Cosmopolitan Club back doing Community service as well as a commitment of a dollar amount. Pros and Cons were discussed and it was tabled at this time.
Dave suggested that we look at getting involved with the redesign of the River front as a Community project. It will be a year or more before they do anything.
